He is a graduate engineer who founded SteriMax in November 2007 with the vision of providing innovative machinery to the Indian pharmaceutical industry.

When Indian manufacturers struggled to meet the demand for IV fluid bottles and Water for Injection (WFI) due to the high cost of BFS/FFS machines and molds, which ran into hundreds of millions of rupees, Mr. Chavan recognized the gap and took initiative to provide affordable, high-quality solutions for the pharmaceutical sector.
